Photographer’s Note

Brisbane at night from Kangaroo Point.

Took a number of photos of Brisbane around the river on this day, with a friend who was trying out her new digital camera before her trip OS.

At night I went back to Kangaroo Point alone and took a series of long-exposure shots of the city and river. Dark Clouds - that been threatening rain all day. It rained and I went home.

Cropped in Photoshop - to remove out of focus rock from foreground and some boring grey clouds from the top.

A great spot there Graeme, and well done on capturing the clouds - they add some good texture to the sky. The reflections have come out well, and you don't have a great deal of burn-out on the lights.
I wonder what it would look like cropped a but further height-wise, to make it more of a panorama - would be worth printing and framing then!
