Photographer’s Note
I took this at the Penarth Marine in Cardiff on a very windy day, that's why the water is so choppy. I just couldn't resist the beautiful sky in the background so I drove past this water barrier and thought that it might be a nice picture. I have applied some sharpening, set both the brightness and contrast on +15 and set the hue(blues) levels on +20.

Very good angle and very good composition, you should try this shot with less brighter sun to get more worm colours.

Very good composition using the dam. Well chosen point of view, nice sky, nice image overall.

Great point of view and very good DOF.
I think this would work very well as a B&W - I might try a workshop if I get a chence later.

I like the low point of view of this pic, as well as the great perspective. The pic seems to be slightly tilting however, maybe it could have been rotated a bit. A nice view anyway, well done Jannie.

belle composition très dynamique avec ces deux textures (eau et roches)Un peu penché mais peut-être on aurait pu essayer des fuyantes encore davantage... Les tonalités bleues sont un peu froides, surtout le ciel
(plus de points pour aujourd'hui)

This one show as one very nice composition with a good angle. It`s very clearly, good colours, lovely clouds. Nice sunny day at the marine. Well done Jannie. Thanks for sharing. Regards Don.

Cool shot. It's sharp, nice sky, and the colours are brilliant. I only wish there were some people in the foreground too. No matter, a nice pic Jannie!

very nice and sharp picture, with a strong contrast between sky, earth and water. I like this 1/3 composition

Jannie, I like what you've done here, it seems you selected the low end of the wide angle and that gives the distortion but the way you divided the frame suits the effect as it sweeps around in three distinct areas broken by dynamic lines. You live in a fabulous place for photography, do you know the Pembrokeshire coast further over? I really recommend Marloes as a dream location. If I lived near I would explore it in different weathers. Maybe you can do it for me!
