Late afternoon in this one and only location - the outskirts of Pieniny Mountains, their colourful grounds dotted with haystacks, and the majestic Tatras closing the horizon. Warm, low sun left some velvia tones in the air, unforgetable experience.

A classic landscape shot revealing so many layers and points of interest. THe haystacks, the pine trees, the mountains in the far background - this shot has it all.

This is a rich picture, it is not boring because it contains many subjects in many levels of the landscape.
The clouds and the sunlight on the mountains keep alive the attention to the deeper parts of the lanscape.

That is a good name for this shot, because it's actually rolling and tumbling this landscape. I agree, great colours in the greens as well as the skyline. And a great composition as well. Enough to see! Nice one.

Well, it's not a pure Velvia in the sky, but it comes very close ;-)
The light on the field is what makes this photo. It's beautiful low light taken in a superb exposure. Of course the composition is flawless, but you already know that. Really a good shot in an excellent exposure. Absolute great shot..!!!

Very beautiful shot Mat. The low side lighting and the composition is perfect. I really like the clouds over the mountains in the background, and of course the different shades of green in the fields looks amazing. The colors really look nice. The white balance is perfect too. Great shot. Xkolba posted a similar one here a few days ago.

Hi Mat - simply spectacular, so bucolic, the light and weather conditions are just right, maybe the sky is too green, I wonder if decreasing green overall would be a good idea.
