Its true, there really are rivers of gold, at least thats what the early settlers found. This was taken flying out of Sydney.

Hi Jim,
If the weather is clear on my flights to Sydney, I usually capture a glimpse of this area, about 20 min before landing. I assume it is the Hawkesbury River inlet, but I am not a local so I could be wrong. I think this is pretty good clarity through a plane window, the only thing is that the shimmer of light has reflected in the window, extending the sheen out over the banks. Impossible to counteract. Nice to see what I think must be a cluster of boats down there also. I might do a workshop, to see what I can improve.
