Photographer’s Note
Located 3 km north of Kiama at the southern end of Jones Beach, this distinctive rock formation has lured sightseers since 1890. They may be viewed from Cliff Drive or studied from close range by approaching from the north - a photographer's delight. Access via Cliff Drive from either Bombo or Kiama Downs exit.
Lee 0.6grad S filter used as well, just to maintain the sky detail. ;-)
Have a nice day all, guys.
Cheers, R.

Hi Radim,
It's been awhile since we saw something from you, but your new entry is a great one. Typical your style, dark and intens colours, great contrast with a good amount of saturation.
A perfect scenery with the waves bounching on the rocks, wonderful light on the right rock as well...very good..!!!

Hello Radim
Magnificent view!
The sea has proparbly enthralled people for centuries and by looking at this photo I believe I understand why.
The scene looks great. Full of action with the long exposure of the waves.
Excellent job.

Hi Radim,
That is a shot to be proud of! Very nice. Yep, grad filters work wonderful. I like to use them as well. But even then, the results can be quite disappointing. Not in this case. 1/10 still quite quick for getting those 'slow waters', but the result is just wonderful. How the waves bounce of the rocks. It's like a painting, just a bit more impressive.
Like the framing as well. Nice one!

Hi Radim,
Great timing and landscape. I particularly like the crashing waves. It's a pitty the whole thing is so dark.

Hi Radim
I can see that it's not only Victoria which has dramatic seascapes ;-)
Although it's slightly on the dark side but the composition is pretty spectacular especially with that crashing wave and you've got a great sky.

Hi,
very good one! I like the mixture of the blue sky and dark brownish red color of rocks. Of course, the best part of all is the wave which has just hit the shore.

Matej.

Hi Radim,
I love the moodiness of this .. I thin the dark shadows and redness of the rocks play into it. ... My favorite thought is how that sky .. which seems in such motion .. combined with the powerful moving water .. relentlessly pummels and passes by the seemingly timeless stone. Wonderful.
take care,
John

This is very dramatic. The speed was just about right to catch the wave spashing in the low bottom.
There are some interesting rock formations also.

Hello Radim, you have some beautiful shots in your gallery but I have chosen this one today.
I keep looking at it and thinking what a lovely place you have captured.
The composition works so well. The colours are wonderful.
I love the way that the sun has just highlighted the breaking wave.
Tfs, regards Jean.
