Photographer’s Note
This was taken in the late afternoon without a lot of light so the photo might be a bit dark. The photo is also a bit mushy so I made a version in the workshop where I applied some sharpening and it looks much better. This is my first photo on trek and am looking forward to learning a lot about photography.

Hello Jan, welcome to TE! This is a really nice photo because it leads the eyes onwards, and draws them to the top of the photo. It provides really good ''depth of field''. I look forward to seeing more of your photos, taken with such a good camera!

Hi Jannie... Welcome to TE.
I'm kind of a road shot fan as it leads my eye and makes me wonder where it goes. The way the road just dissapears into infinity makes this shot work. However it seems just a bit soft, perhaps a slight camera shake. You might try shapening it just a bit to bring out the detail better.

Welcome on TE, The composition is good, ther is a good perspective, the light and color good to.
The picture have been better if you take a step ore to at one of the side, so the road is not so center in pic.
It should be just a bit sharper, and better with a little bigger upload eks. 800x539 in this case.
Keep on the good work!.

Hi Jannie!
Ok, I see what you mean about your first picture being similar to mine. :-)
I like the composition of the picture. Makes me wonder about there actually being light at the end of the tunnel... Also agree with you when it say its a bit mushy, can that be attributed to the Haze filter?
