Photographer’s Note

Words are not enough to describe how it feels to look around and see nothing but a sand ocean.
I felt so tiny and that scared me a little bit but I was amazed and speechless in front of this enormous formation.

Hi Asli,

I love deserts. Worked in Sudan for a while. The work wasn't too easy, but the desert trips made up for it. Your picture brings back some good memories.
I like your shot, looking at the composition. But it has been a bit overly sharpened on the edges of the dunes. Also a bit of loss in detail due to the resizing I guess. You uploaded it 84 Kb, but you can go to 200 Kb! Have a look at www.photofiltre.com for a freeware program in which you can choose more compression steps for Jpeg than the 12 of Photoshop.
