Hi Herb,
A very appealing portrait of this dog!
I like very much the textures on the walls, with the rest of old paintings.
I think it's very good the composition made with this elements.
I made a workshop for you just bringing some details on the dog.

Another classic compo that delivers a cool image. It's a tough light to handle.I'd bracket slightly down the wall behind and then add a little contrast to bring out his good face even more. 'Love the legs!
