Venetian Gondolas Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this photo on a very overcast and misty morning from just outside the main square in San Marco.

The reason I chose this is the strong verticals created by the morning posts and the church tower in the background. The blue covers on the gondolas add interest.

Thank you, Gary. I did enjoy the photo.
As you said, the strong vertical lines create quite an effect. Although there was no sun, the sky is interesting and there is enough light to make relections of the boats. The vivid blue is eye-catching.
