Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken today in the market street (Marble Road) in North Point.
The workmen hadn't come to work yet - taken before 9am - so I was able to take a clear shot of the tram lines.
Digging up the tram line is very hard and very slow work. I think this work has been going on in North Point and Fortress Hill districts for over a year.
My other photo trampled by the crowds shows this market street at 'rush hour'.
Some of the shops and stalls in this market open before 6am.
The tram in this shot is one of the new 5th generation trams. A comparison of the old and new trams can be seen in my photo Who's That Girl.

Hello Andrew,
You show us again a very well city image out of Hong Kong, the tram rails care for excellent perspective, us eye lead us to the tram in depth, but I see the the right the specially scaffold with bambo poles, this is very specially for my, nice composition too.
TFS.
Have a nice day,
John.
