Photographer’s Note

While riding the ferry back to Galveston from the Bolivar Peninsula I shot this photo. There were currently two large cruise ships docked at the Cruise Terminal on the Galveston Ship Channel. The Sun had just started burning through the morning fog and I liked the contrast between the small day sailer and the hugh cruise ship appearing out of the haze. See the ferry in workshop.

It is amazing to see the sheer size of ships such as the cruise ship. The guys in the sailboat probably brag about the size of their ship. Like they say there is always a bigger fish in the sea.
