Oh you know what, i almost forgot about your work, thanks for buzzing me,..
very nice picture.. i like his expression.. Darvish khan seems very intresting and creative artist/person.. we also use the word"Darvish" in our urdu language..
which usually refers to a mendicant ascetic. This latter word is also used to refer to an unflappable or ascetic temperament (as in the Urdu phrase darwaishana thabiyath for an ascetic temperament); that is, for an attitude that is indifferent to material possessions and the like.
thanks for sharing

Salam Atousa,
It's a great portrait of an old peculiar artist surrounded by his work. His look is rather expressive and it's a bad surprise knowing that he passed away, as here it looks full of life.
Regards, José.

Salâm Atousa,
I like this kind of portrait, he seems an interesting fellow and passionate about what he is doing - I was in Kerman province, but never heard of that stone garden : interesting !

Hello Atousa. An interesting photo with a beautiful history in addition. The man and its arts are impressing. Unfortunately something disturbs the branch at the good photo, which seems to grow from the hat of the man out. This point is however not crucial. The face of the man and its remarkable feature make the photo really worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

I like his expression, and open mouth. He definitely had led an interesting life. I like this closer view of the stone trees. What people will do when inspired, I love it.

Atousa..salaam..
Darvish's work is very unique and quite unheard of..have seen the stone garden - is quite refreshing to see a concept like this. Think this shot youve taken is a casual one ? would have been intersting if he was looking into your lenses..nevertheless it is a well taken shot. Its almost as if he is engrossed with his work and is paying attention to a third party.
But thanks for sharing..great concept !.
Cheers.

Hello
I am very moved by this picture. The desire to create is a force that all on TE should understand, though some comments appear quite glib. I celebrate him, his life, his art and your photograph. I am so glad you managed to include his hands.

Atousa,
Great portrait, and an essential companion for the Stone Garden photo. What a fascinating place, and I'm always cheered to know that there are such folk, devoting themselves to such instinctive, personal artworks, moving upon this earth.
Best regards, TFS
