Photographer’s Note

It sounds strange but we have frequent thunder storms in April here in Saudi Arabia. As soon as the temprature rises, these storms brew up all of a sudden followed by heavy showers. We have had quite a few of them recently.
I took this sunset picture after a thunderstorm a few days ago from the rooftop of my house. It is forbidden to take pictures at street level here. Moreover, rooftops offer a better view. It is, of course, difficult to avoid the urban tell-tale structures like this telecommunication tower in the foreground.

The picture was shot in raw, converted in tiff and then into jpeg format. No cropping was done. Here is the detailed exif data:
