Photographer’s Note
again , i am at Bylakuppe, Tibetan refugee settlement ... last year i went to see and document their life, religious activities and events ... it was september 2006when i went there last ... the entire place was full of greeneries... this time , in summer, everything is dry ... no corps are there in the field, wherever you look at,the field are empty ... certainly not the right time to go and enjoy ...
this photograph was taken at Sera Mey University for advanced Buddhism Studies )... students were performing in a debate session..

Hello Sandip. Very interesting activity being performed in this picture. I like your perspective and good focus on the foreground person. Colours and definition very well done.

Great scene dramatically frame, Sandip. My only suggestion for improvement would be a little bit more contrast to bring out the colors and make the shot POP more.
Nice work,
Francis

i love this shot Sandip! i am always a big fan of those monks, they have something I am fascinated with, a gentleness linked to buddhism and a great way of seeing things. this one is very dynamic and gives yet another image of them.. this thinking activity seems very physical to me!

This is a facinating scene, Sandip and I wish I had been there too. You have a bit of a tilt, which, I assume, you don't mind, but spoils it for me a little. I feel that your main subject is not quite sharp. there is some motion blur, of course, but I don't see the head as sharp. (since Francis said nothing about this, I may be wrong) The diagonal composition with you subject making that strong movement works very well and I love the sense of activity and movement in the figures in bokeh. I see that this is in the South of India, not in the North, as I might have expected. It is a place I would like to know more about. Regards Kevin

Dear Sandip
Love this shot...this monk in the FG is so differently poised than others, the layers of monks in the BG.
