At this moment, workmanships occur in order to improve the conditions of life of its inhabitants and visitors. The photo shows the visual improvement made in the habitations.

Set in the superb amphitheatre formed by the Serra da Gardunha, Castelo Novo has some surprisingly beautiful manor houses that once belonged to the region's noble families.

Built in the 12th century but badly damaged by the earthquake in 1755, the castle was described as "new" (novo) because another one already existed in the immediate vicinity, having been abandoned because it was inadequate for the region's defence. This is how the village came to acquire the name of Castelo Novo,( New Castle).

Hi Filipe,

This such a fantastically strong dark brooding image, that I feel that it should be given a light coloured frame to contain its power.

Gosto muito desta! Bonita composição,acho este pov muito bom, com a rua inclinada.Também gosto muito das cores e da textura da pedra. Tenho uma tirada em Sortelha mas nunca a coloquei na galeria, talvez qualquer dia.

Thanks for your critique of my "Peaceful Valley Stream" photo. This is an excellent photo of yours. Outstanding crispness and sharpness. (I don't like photos that are not sharp). I enjoy looking at all the detail on the old stone and your excellent composition. The diagonal on the lower right of this photo adds a strong compositional element which engages the viewer. Good Job!

Genial!

Há aqui duas coisas e meia realmente fabulosas: uma é a textura incrível do granito das paredes a outra é a compo. Digo duas e meia porque a compo é excelente tanto graficamente como em termos de cores (estou ciente que isto de considerar as cores como não sendo grafismo não é lá muito acertado, mas espero que me percebam).

Claro que a excelente definição e luminosidade também ajudam e muito.

Olá filipe, essa foto sua me lembra muito uma minha posta aqui a algum tempo. a Diferença está apenas no tipo de parede.

Excelentes cores e contrastes entre branco, vermelho e o cinza da parede.

Bonita composição do nº 9, as cores estão bem vivas!
Acho que tem 1 pouco de sharpness a mais, que provocou 1s névoas na janela.

Olá Filipe,
Excelente composição e excelentes detalhes. As cores estão óptimas e mut bem saturadas. Gosto imenso daquela linha diagonal verde e tb gosto de portas e janelas (se visitares a minha galeria do TL tenho uma foto do mm estilo em Idanha).
Desabafo à parte: acho uma pena que as CM e os sectores de turismo não usem nenhuma técnicca para disfarçar os fios de electricidade e telefone...

Very simple but it works very well. The simplicity in photography makes it powerfull - You achieved it with that shot.
