Poor yak near Tsongo Lake in Sikkim. Poor 'cause the tourist like to ride on them ... and I'm not sure they enjoy it :-/

It looks like a common cow to me. Why is it called a yak ?
How nice of people to put mittens on the horns. It must help them keep warm.
