Photographer’s Note

After three days of strong northerly winds and what seemed like a never ending mixture of sleet and hail showers, the weather has decided to take a complete about turn, for today, at least, we are bathed in glorious sunshine.
Spurred on by the weather, (and the fact that I have n't posted on TE for over 3 months), a trip up the coast to Lindisfarne was in order.

The shot shows the end of the pier, with some of the small boats lying on the sand as the tide creeps slowly in.
