The second shot of this series Αιανή=Aiani the place in west Macedonia it is a big archeological area, with a very interesting historical meaning.
This photo shows the region around there where also the modern village Aiani is.

Hi Evan, a good view, with not particular saturated colours and a dark sky, but really close to the real world and wiht a long view on the plateau.

hi Evan,

There is a bit of strangeness .. at least no my monitor ... on the mountain on the far left. .. the mountains though serve as a great backdrop to this .. empty vast .. seemingly windy place .. the dark clouds and leafless tree really add to this feeling of emptiness and darkness .. the clouds ..the bent grass .. even the rolling fields add to this feeling of wind ...

Kalimera Evan,
a dramatic cloud scenery and a beautiful landscape. The well placed tree helps the eye for an idea of sclae, even I don't know it's size. In the far back some colored roofs can be recognized as houses surrounded by fields. Wonderful colors.

Great depth on this photo with this tree filling the foreground and the wide open view over this village and the mounts behind. I like the patterns formed by the fields right next to the village and the play of light and shadows of this photo.
