Photographer’s Note
West Bengal is the only place in India where all the six seasons of nature play their tunes of distinct identity.
Now it is early spring in the City of joy (Kolkata). Winter is slowly waving the good bye gesture to the people who are still wearing woolen garments.
However the Mary-Gold flowers of the winter are not yet dry and glowing in groups. Morning sun is still delicious to enjoy in the chill of morning.
Unlike those domestic counterparts (the pets) in the houses this stray one with all its freedom was rejoicing the sweet warmth of early sunlight near the fence near a garbage heap. Her eyes remained closed with pleasure and comfort.
I could not resist but triggered my shutter. My next thought was that my TE friends must share the moment.
The place is the cultural arena of Kolkata, The Rabindra Sadan.

The lazy dog enjoying the sun. Is he looking at all that debri or is he just fast a sleep.
I like the fact the main object , the dog is to the side and that you have included the rubbish. Strange how the rubbish also catchs your attention.

Well Dr Bhunia just as a Canadian citizen endures the long months of winter longing for the warmer days of summer this dog has found soothing warmth of sunlight as she snoozes the afternoon away. I long for those warm summer days.
The surrounding street has a considerable amount of refuse which needs cleaning up. A very good photo capturing the warmth and mood of enjoying life in a warm zone. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Bhunia,
Although it is a photo with some things that are attractive and interesting, namely the wise pov, the excellent sharpness and colours and, of course the relaxed pose of the dog, it is well below your average. That garbage on the left is disturbing and it almost makes the photo ugly.
Nevertheless, along with your note, it is still interesting as documentary. Garbage aside, that seems a very nice garden street, beautiful at this time of year.
Regards, José.

Hello Dr. Bhunia :)
It is a very natural photo reflecting the realities of life. While observing some lovely yellow flowers at the back of the cute dog, we can also see some garbage on the left side. Good things and bad things in the same shot.
Dogs are always the witnesses of this dual face of street and outside life. Very meaningful, thanks for sharing.

Hi DrJ Bhunia,
Lots of thing to look at in this picture. The dog bring a living touch to the pic. Color and exposition are perfect.

Hello Dr. J. Bhunia
I would better crop the left side and leave that lazy dog.

Hi Dr. Bhunia!
I like this picture due to many reasons. I like the framing in which the main subject is almost sidelined but still holds the main role. Picture quality is excellent. Although theres a lots of distractions around but over all a great picture.

Hi Dr Bhunia,
I like your low point of view here coming down to the dogs level. A good composition with lots of great elements to look at. Nice and sharp.

Hello Doc Sab
good shot but if I was asked to take it I would have prefered a vertical compo avoiding those disturbing garbage & reflecting your caption.Even I think blurring the BG a bit & highlighting the dog can be another compo. These are my own thoughts.Hope you don't mind me sharing my opinion.Cheers.

Hello Doc,
Great composition ..!!
very good perspective..!! You have depicted two things here one which u have written in the note and another thing which I saw..and that is the marlboro lights pack with innumerable plastic cups and junk in our very own Rabindra Sadan..!! Our cultural arena is also turning into a mini garbage dump..!!!God only know when will humans realise that these are slow poison to the earth...and they are themselves being instrumental in administering these lethal dose to their mother land..!!!
I have tried a WS on this pic of yours where I have tried to highlight the hero of this photograph..!!
Hope you like it
Regards,
Indro
