metro shadow Photo

Photographer’s Note

Continuing the series at the Metro stations in Washington DC ...

This photograph was taken from the same angle as the last photograph but on this one, you can see a train in motion making a shadow on the cylindric ceiling of the station because of the white center light between the rails.

Hola Alejandro,
That's a top angle to deliver a view full of perspective and leading lines, motion as well with the arriving train. It seems to me the colors lean towards the green, for having been in the DC metro as well I remember the ceilings to me more white, like clinically sophisticated.

A nice compostion, dynamic even if it is mainly centered, but the train mouvement gives it.

Hola Ale, ya no me acordaba como eran las estaciones de metro del DC. Me gusta ver dinamismo que aporta el tren al pasar. Tomaste alguna con las dos vías en movimiento? El texturado del techo se ve muy bien, sin embargo las personas a los lados están un poco borrosas.

Me gusta mucho el dinamismo que tiene esta imagen. El metro y la sombra que proyecta dan mucho relieve a la imagen y has conseguido una profundidad realmente asombrosa. El punto de vista es muy bueno. Enhorabuena, y buen fin de semana.

This is great Edgar, and in my opinion it's better than your previous one.
The addition of the blurred train has transformed the image, and given it a lot more dynamism. I also think the asymmetrical framing works well.

No sabia con cual de las dos quedarme y sonreir :D, pero creo que esta es un poco menos previsible, por la diagonal que pasa por el medio de la foto, precisamente, cruzandola de lado a lado.
Muy buen manejo de luz y sombra, movimientos y el haber corrido tu centro un poco a la izquierda dió muy buenos resultados.

Hola Alejandro.

Me imagino que necesitaste paciencia para hacer la foto y poder hacer la foto en el momento preciso. También creo que no sería la única foto que harías.
Unas con metro, otras sin. Pero lo que es seguro es que la perspectiva y el punto de vista son muy buenos. La exposición también, pero esto formato casi cuadrado pero más vertical que horizontal no me acaba de convencer.

Otra muy buena foto del metro, la presencia del tren le da accion a tu foto, esta muy bien captada y presenta una profundidad muy buena. Gran composicion.

Me gustan mucho este tipo de escenas, en esta existe una perfecta combinación entre luz, color y movimiento, gracias a la perspectiva desde un punto de vista alto creas una composición muy interesante y dinámica, sin duda un buen trabajo.
