Photographer’s Note

La casa Battlo est une des création de gaudi sur le Passeig de Gracia à Barcelone. Avec quelques autres édifices modernistes, elle participe à «l’îlot de la discorde », ensemble architectural particulièrement original.
La façade, ondulée, est parsemée de disques de céramique multicolores. Le toit couvert de tuiles de céramique est surmonté d'une tour portant la croix de quatre bras habituelle dans les créations de Gaudí.

a good, detailed close-up of the top part of this building. I'd suggest cropping a bit off the right side of the shot to take the other building out altogether.

The more I hear and see photos of this city, the more I want to visit. What an experimental piece and beautiful architecture work. Abstraction and surrealism for sure. And of course, a smoot fusion of other styles with an almost onion dome like those of Russian cathedrals.

Thanks for your comments. This is stunning. I also took this picture but I think I will not post it now!

Great work on a building I know is very difficult to get a good view on a camera.
