Photographer’s Note
This is photo was taken from Black Mountain Tower and shows you the view towards Parliament House. The lake is called Lake Burley Griffin and is the centrepiece of the city landscape.
What I noticed visiting Canberra again after two years was the dry countryside. Many trees are dying from heat stress. What used to be farmland is now just dust. Global warming is making a major impact in Australia.

This picture is very important to me as biologist. It shows very good what's really happening on our planet. Maybe we shall make all of us efforts by showing such photos to those who are taking national decisions...

A great view but the large brown parts in the landscape are really threatening! Therefore I like your note very much! We are on the way to an abyss - I'm sure...
