Photographer’s Note
Today the sky changed about a thousand times over Sambro Harbour...
At this time - about 3:40 in the afternoon -
it seemed as if a giant flying saucer was hanging over Sambro, as seen from Sambro Head.
The sky was darkened except for a brilliant hole in the cloud cover emitting bright white light.
I was surprised by the warmer colour of the reflection in the water.
NOTE: This shot is without PP; other than scaling and compressing to fit TE. In other words colours are as shot.

Hello Jay,
This is a wonderful scenery with excellent exposure and lightning. I like this POV and DOF, composition and this nice reflect on the water. Thanks,
Claudine

Hi Jay 0 inspiring shot, I really like the way the rays shoot out of the cloud, great timing.

LOvely and "pacific" scene of a very Atlantic ocean!
This photo gives one such a sense of tranquility and peace....and says volumes in the shafts of light that emanate from the setting sun.
You were fotunate to present this PoV on such a
still night, as referenced by the absence of whitecaps on the harbor.
