Photographer’s Note
Here is the view on the beautiful architectural ensemble of the Kremlin in Izmailovo from the small pedestrian bridge on the way to Izmailovsky Ostrov (Izmailov's Iceland). The walls and towers of the Kremlin were built in 1990s in the style of Medieval Russian wooden fortress and nowadays it houses the well-known and very popular craft flea market, called Vernisazh (or Art City, Craft Market), where you can buy all kinds of Russian souvenirs, as like matreshkas, shaulves, samovars, carved chess and Ded Moroz'es (Santas), gzhel and many other famous souvenirs from Russia at reasonable prices if compare with shops in downtown of Moscow city.
The weather in Moscow this winter is still very warm, (now snow in middle of January, just incredible!) but very cloudy, just several days were sunny during the last couple of months... Of course, this weather is quite depressing, but I think that this colorful ancient style towers can change your mood in positive way with any weather conditions This is like kids start to smile after looking on Disney Land... and that is why, having pretty hard climate conditions with short summers and long winters, Russians like colorful & decorative buildings!

Bonjour Arthur,
toutes ces couleurs donnent un aspect un peu folklorique à cet ensemble architectural, mais cela coupe un peu la monotonie de la grisaille présente dans le ciel.
Un bon choix pour le cadrage et le POV.
Best regards.
Daniel.

A fairy tale skyline: the succession of colour ful dome creates a fantastic composition which stands out against the cloudy sky and provides lovely reflections in the river. I would love to visit this place.
Thanks for sharing

I love seeing all these towers here Arthur. Vernisazh must be a good place to visit on a busy day - and the architecture is quite amazing. I like the reflections in the water too, TFS

Hi Arthur
Yes i think i understand what you mean, but maybe that is why they use these colors, to cheer people up on a cold and cloudy day.
Nice shot by the way, very detailed.

Hi Arthur,
I like the architecure and the reflection in the water, but as you said the clouds convey a feeling of sadness. Hope you'll have the opportunity to take the same picture on a sunny day.
Best wishes,
Jeremy
