Photographer’s Note
While travelling in the Columbia Valley we tripped over
the 10th Annual Wings Over the Rockies festival.
We hiked thru a bird sanctuary NW of Windermere.
For a change I spotted a sign that actually provided
some very good information about the
Wetlands at the Headwaters of the Columbia...
[ Headwaters for a watershed the size of France ]
See herewith.
The mountains behind me were silhouetted on the sign.
The blue sky and clouds are reflected on same.
I shot the sign. The sheriff is still alive.

An intriguing technique, to be sure. I had to look several times to see what was what!!
I do like the presentation of the ecosystem
information along with the ecosystem visible on and through the sign. Someone has recently said that blue sky is not as blue as it once was, due to pollution, etc. but I think the Windermere area hasn't gotten that message yet!! Vibrant BLUE captured by your camera is proof of THAT!!
GOOD shot and innovative!!
