During days "romeiros", pious religious people, como to Juazeiro do Norte, to get blessings from Padre Cicero, a still not canonized, but adored, saint. With them come hoard of beggers. And part of the religiousness is to give to the poorer. 1-3 cents per person. If you do not have small change, no problem, the beggers have change!
