Photographer’s Note
On a snorkeling expedition into the Red Sea we came across this ship which had run aground on a reef off the coast of Sharm El Sheik on the Sinai Peninsula in Eastern Egypt.
You can see right through the ship due to the corrosion from the battering of salt water which over time can even eat through solid steel.
Scuba divers now use this wreck as a training ground. It is probably just as interesing underwater as it is above...
Shot with a Pentax IQ Zoom 105 from onboard our smaller vessel it was difficult to get a still frame. Scanned nine years later. Rezised, not cropped. No filters, flashes or tripods. No pp work. One shipwreck.
