Photographer’s Note

Dear Friends...and here I am...this is exactly where my golf ball...has fallen...and my "good" comrades eagerly say I must cross this pond...to me it looks like a lake or sea !...with just one new shot and not finish in the water...Must be Joking !
Think I should just stick to Photography &...forget Golfing !
Golfing...sorry... "golf ball snorkling"...in Chicureo located some 25 Km North of Santiago, the capital of Chile

Great shot - the colours are good & the reflection on the water is nice too. I can see why it might be distracting for a golfer - such nice surroundings!

Nice border, but a bit to much black on the lower part, to my taste, wasn't necessary, I think.

Great colors, love the contrast between the softer colors that gradually become brighter until the eye comes to the distant hill, nice reflection from the sky to the pond. It is spring in your part of the world so be tempted back to golf.

Your golf game probably suffered because you where distracted from the awesome view. I would say nicely spotted but i guess its a bit hard to miss. So instead i will say nicely captured. The colours really jump out at you. Well done

Linda, simplesmente linda. Gosto muito das cores, do reflexo na água e da composição. Com esta paisagem eu certamente que deixaria o golf para segundo plano.

Wow, wonderful place! Like heaven in the lake ;). Amazing colours, especially these in the reflection, because the upper part of the photo (the mountain) is a bit oversaturated in my opinion ;).

Your absolutely correct brother, give up the golfing and enjoy the view...although, snorkling would be fun. Wow, those colors...just outstanding. THe crisp blue surrounding the blazing orange hill makes a wonderfully contrasting scene.

Dont be a chicken Robert. You have a most beautiful photo here for us to admire, and we certainly do that, golf,address your ball from the rock in the middle of the lake edge, now take a big breath and put the ball over at about the 2 oclock position, it is over the water, doesnt have to go all the way to the other end. Hi Robert. Sounds like you play golf like me, more an excuse for a walk round a nice place. Great photo, the red hill in the BG stands out well against that dramatic sky. Good composition and colours. Thanks for sharing.

Estupenda fotografía, que no parece un campo de golf (¡menos mal que está la nota!). Aunque es verdad que llama la atención el cesped, la vista que nos das aquí, entre el agua, las "colinillas" amarillas... el conjunto parece más agreste, pero es de una gran belleza. Has elegido un punto de vista que le da un toque dramático, ayudado por la luz que es espléndida. Muy bella. Un saludo,

I don't know. If this is where you are golfing you may want to stick to golfing also (but keep bringing the camera with you). Great composition and colors. Good framing to match.
