Photographer’s Note

Hi Folks!

I'm doing a repost of that picture. With surprise, this picture have won the first place in my district in an amateur photo contest here in Montreal. I thought it was not clean has it could be possible therefore I've decide to repost a sharper version. This was one of my first picture post on trekearth. I've learn a bit since that time. It's not one of my best I think (Actually, I find it a little bit "ordinaire"!!). Anyway, I guess what people love in it is the mood and color from 1 oclock with long exposure.

visit the contest site and look at the finalist! There's a couple of good one overthere!

This is a real tipical thing of Montreal called Les Ruelles. I think all the caracter of the city is in those small lane that are between streets. Most of the time, it's verry calm and you can the unexpected everywhere. You can see birds, trees flower, graffiti, nice living scene, old architecture, garden etc... You can be in the heart of downtown and think that you are in nature.

For a photograph.. It's a never ending inspiration. I will try to post a lot of these picture in the next week (After a small trip!!)

This one is a night shot down of my street. You can see the flowers, trees and a bit of a latino-american church at the end of the ruelle. Hope you like it!
