Photographer’s Note

First test of photograph in HDR. I know the foreground is not brilliant brilliant. But environment is well to restore. It is a technique which I find rather fantastic but that I do not use everywhere with the risk to have results rather unreal!

This is a wonderful, no, a great picture - full of atmosphere and beauty! The way leading into the secenery works very well. The colours are really natural. I like it a lot!

Thank you for having make me discover this new concept. I'll try to learn it asap.

It recalls me the use of contrast mask. I see here the same problem: excessive saturation. Especially the grass, seems almost fluo. Anyway a good picture.

I like very much what you did here. I personally think that this technique sometimes (not always) gives you the ability to render things much closer to what your eyes are seeing than what the cameras can do, because cameras cannot use 2 different exposures for shadows and highlights while the eyes have this ability up to a point. Good job.

Une belle image bien cadrée et bien composée. Ton image est très naturelle dans ses couleurs. J'aime le fait que l'on soit en contre-jour et que le vert de l'herbe soit également très bien exposée ! C'est assez intéressant ce HDR.

Bel essai de HDR, technique vraiment top. Ici l'exposition est assez bien équilibrée et ne tombe pas dans le trop kitsch.

Interesting hdr shot. Good details and also all the typical hdr shades of light all placed in a well made compo with use of the road as a main detail. I like it and as you say maybe the hdr sometimes may look a little artificial - but often light and shades changes so it may often just be a question of when in the day we visit a place. Anyway good result this one
