Photographer’s Note
This is a small Mosque in The Tel- Aviv Seafront. The Telaviv seafront is made up of one high-rise hotel after the other and this nice and old mosque is quite a sharp contrast to all the (mostly) ugly buildings that have ruined tel-aviv's seafront.
Even though in the last couple of years the trend seems to be changing, Tel-Aviv has effectively been architecturally raped and most of its smaller older buildings have been demolished to build high rise flats, offices and hotels. This Mosque is one of the leftovers...

Love your comment, couldn't agree more. Your shot illustrates your comment well to those that have not have the good fortune to see it for themselves. Nice shot.

Great photo illustrating how ugly modern beachside development can be. A shot of the modern building without the small mosque would have not conveyed the loss. The photo could do with straightening up a bit so that the vertical lines are vertical and would have been better without the street light half way up on the LHS, if this was possible. Nice warm light on the bricks Cheers, Steve

Very nice shot. It is very interesting to see this beautiful mosque lost in the middle of those (ugly) high-rises buildings. I like the brick colour of the mosque and the warm sunlight on the palms. Well done.

I like this contrast of ages here. And the note tells everything about how people forget the old and important things, which often have more than just historical meaning. I wonder if this Mosque is also to-be-replaced...

hi oshry,
very nice shot with an interesting note,
ı really like your comment, ı think we should not loose our history and our leftovers,
anywhere around the world we should keep the olds to see how the time goes rapidly and how we change without thinking.... technique is a wonderful tool but if we use it with intelligence and with pure and warm heart we will find the past again in the future...mind and heart, two wings for fly....
nice shot,
thank you for sharing...

Hy Oshry,
Great composition. Illustrates your note very well. That old beautiful mosque is impressive, but the tall glass building smudges it. Nicely framed, with good perspective and depth of field. Good note too. That´s a problem in pratically every big city of the world today. We face the same thing here in Brazil.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing
Lucas.
