Sun on the Creu du Van Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here another image of this magic place that is Creu du Van, become rather known on TE now. The sun of the morning lit the rock face giving him a beautiful colour. Drawn from items.ch: Le Creu du van the east a natural circus approximately two kilometers in diameter, formed by two arcs of circle coast at coast. Partly natural reserve, it is not rare to cross chamois and ibexes. In 1770, the last wild bear was put there at death. For my part I did not see any chamois, nor ibexes however raised in the early morning! It only did not leave given.

Hello,
the light was certainly very good, the convoluted trees are of high interest and the cliff behind gives a good background. However, in my opinion, the photo should be a bit sharper and maybe (that's very dependable upon the personal taste) with just a bit stronger saturation. And I am very sorry for the wild path going along the edge - it spoils the nature.

I was at once observing the light here. Not as I saw it these days I was around..
Still i recognize the trees and motif. Credit to you for the use which is more creative than I did myself.

Je vois que tu as eu plus de chance que tout les trekkers qui se sont rendus là-haut ce week-end ! (A part ceux qui sont monté dimanche) !
La lumière est très belle et le point de vue bien choisi.

Salut Fabien,

Le Creux-du-Van est à la une ces temps-ci ! Très belle image d'un début de matinée bien ensoleillé. J'aurais bien aimé voir un cadrage avec un seul arbre à droite, histoire de ne pas couper ce fameux cirque.
