Photographer’s Note

This is one more of the sun set pictures at the lake near Puszczykowo.
I have only used RAW converter from Canon to manipulate the colors a little bit, but besides downsizeing, I have not touched the image with PS.
The back of the lake had a bit of wind, so it broke up the perfect mirror image, but it still turned out ok.
Please let me know your thoughts.

I love how the tree branches, and the grass, and everything is completely silhouetted against that lovely sky and it's reflection. The colors look really good, and natural. Good work.

Compositie en kleurtoning zitten perfect in elkaar. De bladeren in de voorgrond zorgen voor een perpecte dieptewerking.

Hello Etienne,
this is very beautiful!! It looks a bit like quiet sunset but I think I prefer the colors in this one. The range of color is shorter, but still it is so peaceful!! I like the shadows, especially the ones at the top and at the lower left.

Lovely hues of colour you captured here in the sky and their reflections in the water are really fascinating. Good framing thanks to the branches and nice neat silhouettes. Good work on light.

Pink, blue and purple tones gives a more calming effect plus the serenity of the lake, the whispering silhouttes soothes the eye, lovely capture, well presented dude!

Such sublime colors. The deep purple and bluesin this shot are great. Good use of silhouettes and the still water makes a great reflection...I know you say the wind in the back disturbed the reflection, but it is not really noticable. Great balance.

Hello Etienne,
It is amazing how many fabulous colors we can see in different sunsets. The shades of purple in this photo are wonderful, and they are colors we don't often see over here. I like the way all of the trees and leaves are black silhouettes, and the water certainly is a good mirror. Very pretty scene. :-)
