Photographer’s Note

For quite some time I looked out for an occasion to capture the remarkable colour toning that one can notice during the shift from day to night...

It is probably me but even after innumerable times I still find it breath-catching to witness this natural process and its magical effect that only lasts for a short while.

...This is a capture of one of these moments, in the old town of Naxos Chora. I also used the wide-angle converter of my old Olympus IS-3000. With that converter mounted to the 28-80mm lens it should equal 21mm.
The different textures of this wall and the various pipes together with the old wooden panel appeared interesting enough for me to compose a play with strong converging lines.

After reading Yitzhak's comment I took a closer look at the previous upload. The clarify tool indeed does a fine job, it actually also made very clear I forgot to clone out the dirt by intensifying the dust on the original ;-)
