At this very moment the rafts hit the top of the elevator at the newly opened Charlotte Whitewater Center in North Carolina.

This is the new headquarters of the US National Canoeing Team - here they will practice for the Olympics and World Championships, let alone for the Naitonals, some of which will doubtlessly take place here.

With seven turbines that can pump 12 million gallons a minute (or something like that...) it promises to be a lot of fun!

Pictorally not much to do. No flash. No tripod. No filters, special effects, a little cropping and that's it. One elevator at a whitewater center!
