Photographer’s Note

Sunset seen at Leça´s Harbour.
There were a few seaguls flying arround and I was lucky and patient enough to wait for one of them to fly nearby, on a position that would balance the photo, before the sun completely disapeered and that nice orange faded away.
Treated curves and sharpened a bit.

Tive a sorte e a paciencia para esperar que uma das gaivotas que por ali voavam, passasse suficientemente perto e numa posição que equilibrasse a foto, antes que o sol e aquele maravilhoso laranja desaparecessem.
Tratamento de curvas e algum "unsharp mask".

Beautifull Emanuel. I love these red and purple colours. You are right about the bird balancing the photo. It is also a lovely addition to the composition as a whole. Your patiens paied off.

Nice shot Emanuel. Perfect timing considering you probably you did not have many opportunities to take the shot with the bird and the sunset before the sun disappeared.

Linda, a paciência é uma grande virtude de um fotografo, o resultado é sempre fantástico! Atmosfera bonita e quente com esses tons avermelhados. Tinha sido interessante ver melhor a bandeira de Portugal mas não sei até que ponto, só me lembrei!
