Under a new lighting Photo

Photographer’s Note

This old lamp has seen better days, but it now offers the view of a whole new lighting, thanks to the setting sun.

This photograph was taken from the train station platform, near the place where I also shot the Genie of the Factory.

I preserved the colors of the setting sun, but felt the materials needed more sharpness, which I added in Photoshop Elements before reducing the dimension of the image.

Ombres magiques d`un objet tout à fait singulier.....Belle compo et belle lumière.L`on sent bien l`oeuvre du soleil.

Hi Martine. The color of the lamp matches perfectly with the wall color and the stretched shadow looks great. Maybe this photo would look cool in B/W too.

I've recently created a new theme called "Lamps Lamps Lamps". You could add this one there if you like.
