Photographer’s Note
Hi TE friends. This is the #3 post from series "Pindos mountain range". I was had been there last June 2006. Here we can see one of the many peaks in late spring.
The Pindus (Greek: Πίνδος, Aromanian: Pind) mountain range is located in northern Greece. It is roughly 160 km long, with a maximum elevation of 2637 m (Mount Smolikas). Because it runs along the border of Thessaly and Epirus, the Pindus range is often called the "spine of Greece". The mountain range stretches from near the Albanian border in northern Greece to the north of the Peloponnesus.

Landscape photography is a very hard subject, especially because it’s not always easy to capture an element that focus our immediate attention. In this case you’ve used very well the sinuous path to do it. Still the pre and post-processing brought some problems to the picture.
The polarization in the sky is excessive, as it created a very dark sky which contradicts the sunny scene. To enhance this, the contrasts in the bottom part are very strong, darkening large areas of the forest eliminating details of the tree branches and draining strength of the greens. Finally there seems to be some kind of blur + over-sharpen seen more clearly in the rocks in the right side.
Unfortunately this turned the image a bit too aggressive. With a different management of the polarization, less contrast and a milder sharpening you could create a very pleasant image.

Dear Ioannis,
Very nice shot, but it's maybe a little bit to much !
I think the sky is too much polarized. I also like this, but not too much.
The sharpness of the foregound landscape seems also to be too excessive!
Otherwise composition and POV are quite nice

A simple but effective lesson in how to compose a pretty scene and how to use a polarizer.
Beautiful work
