Photographer’s Note

This is a panorama of the rolling wheat country of north-central Oregon, east of the Cascade Mountains. Despite the clouds in this photo, the area receives too little annual precipitation to support forest--it is naturally grassland, perfect for wheat crops and cattle grazing.

Hi James,

I like pictures when they make you feel you are there, like yours !

I just wonder if it would not have been better to take that picture closer to the floor, so we can better see the grass.
