Photographer’s Note

Looking down from a ridge near Montaclcino the mist and rising sun give a surreal feel to the landscape, losing all the details and giving a yellow hue.
I have enhanced the contrast to further bring out the shapes in the hills.

This is beautiful, the curved lines of the hills creates a great pattern. The fact that no details are available here let us focus on those lines and color.

This is a very beautiful photo.
I dont like more ISO, but in this photo it looks very well.
I love amazing green/yellow colors and shapes of hills.

Hi John,

I agree with the others- it is a nice shot. The rolling hills and that magnificent yellow hue are quite striking. However as the other mentioned; there is quite a bit of digital noise. Maybe look into free software like 'Neat Image' (trial that never seems to expire).

Hi again John, a beautifully composed and exposed photograph. You have captured the atmosphere perfectly, achieving a dreamlike quality. You've also skilfully enhanced the contrast so as not to make the hue overpowering. I like the grain as it adds to the atmosphere and for me it's not too much (but then I used to go out of my way some years ago to get grain as big as golf balls). A favourite of mine. Stephen

Très belle image avec de superbes lumières. Je trouve toutefois que le bruit est un peu trop présent.
J'ai mis en WS ton image traitèe avec Neatimage. Tu me diras ce que tu en penses.
