Photographer’s Note

Another shot about boats. On this time in a small affluent of the Amazon River. I was in another boat in a fluvial excursion to know the "meeting of waters" (Encontro das Águas in portuguese), where the adobe colored waters of the Amazon River, find with the dark ones of the Black river (Rio Negro).

nice one...beautiful, fresh green tones of the wetland vegatation against the lovely south american sky;-) with plenty of low moving clouds...all enhanced by the nicely composed boat...cheers, arturo

Nice capture indeed. The place looks fully surrounded by water.Nice picturescue location, a beautiful boat. I would love to spend the whole weekend lazing on this boat drinking and fishing.

This is not another shot about boats it's an excellent photo about boats and nature. Very well composed with great exposure that has as a result this beautiful vivid colours. Impressive sky and a "bonus" for us viewers the bird that's flying. Congratulations!

Is this a repost of the original shot? It's great, the composition & colours are very good, the sky is particularly nice here. I like the bird (seagull?) in the centre of the shot, above the boat.

Você estava em barco ou canoa? Deve ser difícil ficar de pé numa canoa e fotografar.

Joao Eduardo...gracuas por visitar mi galería que me dio la oprtunidad de conocer la suya...tienes unas fotos muy hermpsas/muy bien logradas...este es un excelente ejemplo: sus suaves y delicados colores crean una ambientación muy especial. Acogedor paisaje con nubes, embarcación...movimiento que atraen. El pájaro volando es un acierto adicional.

Bela composição com cores muito frescas e um Céu maravilhoso. Talvez eu tivesse descentrado um pouco mais o barquinho mas acho que isto é uma questão pessoal. A moldura também é excelente e salienta ainda mais a bela fotografia.

Nice picture Jao !

You put the white balance in automatic mode I think.
The global colour of the picture go to the green colour. (Tungsten mode)

With sea, lake .. The 300D/350D are able to chose a White balance mode not adapted to the situation.

Lindo paisaje, lleno de contraste y color. Excelente composición.
Quizas y para mi gusto, hubiera lateralizado el bote un poco mas hacia la izquierda, a fin de darle realce a esa gran nube en el horizonte.
