Photographer’s Note

I already posted some pictures of sculptures in our "Old Cemetery", now one of the only building in it. The mortuary was built in the mid of the 1870ies. After a major rebuilt in the early 1990ies the building is now used to host smaller events that attract not too much people. For this purpose it was named "Carolinensaal" (Caroline Hall) after the city founders wife Caroline-Henriette and a statue of her was placed in front of the building.

The picture is stitched together from 2 photos by AutoStitch. This was necessary because two flag poles distract the sight in the distance I need to capture the building with the cameras standard lens. To compensate the white sign I framed the picture in sandstone colour.
