Photographer’s Note
Many temples in Myanmar ask a donation from the tourist, either for entry or photography.
At the moment one gets about 800 Kyat per US dollar. So it cost me about $0.15 to take pictures here.
(I love signs with awkward English. Maybe we should have a theme....)

Dear Bob, interesting background, sky and plants ? Good use of DOF there although that is just beside the point. The sign is great especially with those rare colours. Composition is good with the other parts surrounding the sign. BTW Your note reminds of a sign I saw in Yosemite National Park. "All you can take are pictures and all you can leave are footprints" Keep nature clean ! Thanks for sharing.

And you had to pay also for the picture of the sign? That's a funny idea. I like the cahracters very much, it is so clean, simple and artistic. Nice shot, Bob.

I also find this kind of thing amusing Bob. I`ve just posted my contribution. It seems the folk in Bago have a slightly friendlier attitude toward photographers than some in Bangkok.

Creative idea, that counts for both the photographer and the concept behind your photograph's motive ;-)
