Photographer’s Note

I took this shot from an airplane just before landing at the airport. This is downtown Curitiba, one of the most beautiful and well conserved city of Brazil. The original pic was a bit hazze, then I tried to clean it by adding contrast and increasing the color satturation.
I am not from Curitiba, then I am not absolutely sure about the landmarks on the ground, but I will try:
On the middle is the "passeio publico", a mix of park and zoo.
On the top you can see a stadium, that I think it is from the Coritiba soccer team (Stadium Couto Pereira).
On the bottom right you can see the Guaira theater on one side of the plaza and the Federal University of Paraná on the other end.
For the Curitibanos, please correct me if I am wrong.

Ricado what an amazing view of Curitiba from up here. Your camera certainly caught some nice details from this vantage spot. Very nicely done..thanks for sharing!

Thank you for giving us this fine image. I have never heard of Curitiba before so this is an impressive introduction to the city. I see it is well developed and looks like a very green place too. Nice details and exposure. A very good catch.

this shot is worth a great deeal because of your effort. light is a bit subdued but most of the details are still visible. your note makes this shot more enjoyable.

I have to confess, that this is not so impressive than the previous ones and it's a bit dark also. Nevertheless, it's still a good one from the plane, wich I love, with nice details to observe and a good note. I specially like the buildings in the bottom and the widing avenue at left.

Hi Ricardo - nice job lessening the haze by contrast, though it made the shadows and the overall photo a bit too dark, but still the urban layout is nicely visible.
