Photographer’s Note

A view of the Miðfjörður area in North Iceland in a dramatic lighting. This area is not one of my favourite parts of the country as I think the landscape is slightly boring, and this is just somewhere you pass on the way to for example nice places as Mývatn or Skagafjörður or Akureyri. In this lighting however the landscape looks more interesting, and this experience is enhanced.

Fredrik, this reminds me of similar photo I took on Iceland as well. Great deep dark colors with beautiful sun rays that create very dramatic photographt. THS. Lucie

A truly remarkable shot with difficult lighting conditions captured so well. I feel that I am there, standing in the landscape.
