Photographer’s Note
I took this picture last year at the beginning of September from one of the several jetties which exist along the coast of Öresund. In the distance at sea is the "Rising Sun", the world's largest pleasure yacht owned by the founder of Oracle Software Company, Larry Ellison. He was in Malmö to attend the Acts 6&7 of the worlds oldest and most prestigious sailing race, America´s Cup.

Hej Christian,
Great perspective of this jetty. That yacht looks great too and also the smaller sailing boat is a very nice addition! I love the colours too, very well captured!

Christian,
Nice moment with great soft colors. I think I would have centerd the pier since the image is so symmetric, it looks a little odd to be off by so little.

Hi Christian
in my opinion excellent POV. I wonder without the boat this picture would be better but I don't know. Colours and focus very well.
Thank you for sharing

Hi Christian,
There are many remarkable details in this photo.
First, its composition. It seems to be central, but it actualy isn't. Larger area of the sea on the right is balanced by the ship and the direction of the pier.
Second, the pink colour is on the right-hand rail only.
Third, the colour mentioned above is almost the same as the colour of the sky.
There are a couple of more interesting details, but these three are enough to make this picture unique and quite artistic. Vell done.
Thanks,
Marek

The sunset reflecting off the fence on the right looks awesome. I love how it creates those two lines (which match the sky), and they draw us into the picture and point right to the big yacht on the horizon. Masterfully done!

Hi Christian!
Wonderful composition with great perspective.
The pier leading to the horizon gives a good depth and I like the reflection of the nice sky-color at the wood.Perfect POV,well seen and done.
Thanks and regards,
LEO

Hi Christian, A nice symmetric perspective view to the pier. The sunlight had well painted the pink colors to the sky and to one side of the handrail. It will be perfect if you capture the scene a few moment earlier when the cruise ship was exact on the extended point of the pier. Still, this is a very nice and enjoyable image. Well done.

Woow,
what a great colours, Christian!
The yacht seems so close and ready to take anyone who strolls the jetty.
I like the sunset's reflection on the right-hand railings.
Very interesting image,

Hi Christian,
that's a Classic perspective of long straight bridge leading to sea. What makes this more special is the inclusion of that boat and sunset coloured sky!
Lovely pic, well taken.

The yacht breaks the (near) symmetry really nicely, Christian. The colors are great, too--I like the orange-pink tone on the railing. Nice contrasting textures between the dock surface, the water and the railing. Excellent! Regards, Ken.

Hi Christian, I'm always ready for some perspective shots, and this one is really great ! Deep one, with an impressive DOF ... I should have wait perhaps 2 minutes so that the boat be more on the left, then compose the pic with this perspective on the right and the boat on the left, but nevermind, it's an excellent picture ;)
I'll be back :)

HEllo Christian
this picture is very good because:
- the centered peer, going to the horizon line, very well placed,
- the little boat,
- the very nice colors (especially on the side of the pier)

Hello Christian,
Most impressive is the way the evening light is captured, the reflection on the rail is very eye-catching!
Good lead-in to the ship in back, fine details are present...
A well composed image with attractive colours!
Greetings,
Pablo -
