Photographer’s Note

I'm only 35. When I was a kid (and even when I was a teen), my friends and I, we used to buy and to enjoy popcorn from these sort of street sellers. At that time, fast food was something new to everyone. We could find popcorn street sellers in every school, cinema, or club corner. Nowadays they are still there, but more like ghost that only a few nostalgic or addicted to popcorn people can perceive. This one in the picture works right in front a popular cinema theater, opposite to a Mc Donalds shop. Actually the seller is looking at the queue at Mc Donalds (my mistake, cuz I should have added his view to the composition). He stands there, all day long, waiting for those rare ones who might want popcorn freshly made like the old days.

I think that this is a great picture as it captures daily life so very well. You have managed to get the heat and warm glow from the inside of his machine to shine so very nicely. You must have had a slow shutter speed as I see the girl's(?) left foot moving - nicely done - good aperture/speed combination.

You did a good job of capturing the inside lights of the popcorn machine, the yellow glow is what makes this shot come off well.

em tudo essa foto é um encanto Bruno.
as usually, your notes are priceless.
começo a pensar que o TE é muito muito mais do que um 'site de fotografia'. começo a vê-lo como um depositário (falei difícil agora!) de documentos históricos, documentos culturais que só o tempo vai dizer da sua importância.
EDIT: por alguma razão achei que você deveria mostrar o rosto do homem e não a fila do McDonalds. Numa outra oportunidade talvez. Essa está D+ just like it is.
foi delicado da sua parte não dizer que muitos deles ficam nas portas das escolas vendendo drogas...
naõ acho que você tenha errado ao não mostrar o rosto do vendedor. como está ele parece mais mítico, mais 'representante de uma classe', por assim dizer.
essa realmente me tocou o coração.
