Satsuma Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

An urban sunset taken at the end of January of this year.

Nothing much to say about it really, just that the colours and texture of the sky caught my eye as I was driving along the route I use every day.

Didn't use a filter, just warmed up the orange colour slightly in Picasa2, sharpened, resized and added a border.

Had my ISO at 800 and the shooting mode set at Aperture Priority.

Bonjour Vicky,
un petit bout de temps que je ne visitais plus ta galerie.
Voici une photo qui donne une belle amabiance du soir avec des couleurs chaudes. Mais je suppose qu'il ne faisait pas très chaud.

Hi Vicky... I think the colors are fantastic!. It is really like the place is burning... Very nice contrast too. Well seen. I wonder what is the small object on the top right corner of the shot with some kind of "smoky path" ... could that be a plane .. UFO or an asteriod ? ;) This add a touch of "apocalyptic noon" ;)
