Photographer’s Note
My first visit to Germany. Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary last week we spent five days in the south. We stayed with friends in Wilhemlsdorf and had a great time. It is a truly beautiful place with wonderful people.
We were lucky that they had the biggest snowfall in years. I will post a couple more photos over the next few weeks.
For those commenting on how clear this image is, it was quite "cloudy" but adjusting the levels and a little sharpening did the job very well.
This was taken from the plane. It is interesting to see the little villages dotted on the landscape.
It also confirmed how ripped off we are here in Ireland.

Hi Danny
I love this photo a lot. It's clean, sharp and airy. In fact, I like this photo so much that I'm going to add it to my favourites. :) Thanks for sharing.
Lana.
P.S. I have photo of UK from the air, which I'm planning to post tomorrow.

It's really a great image!
I wonder how did you managed to get such a sharp and clean photo regarding that you took it from inside the airplain...

Hi Danny,
Wow... the small preview doesn't do much good for this shot. I clicked wondering what the photo was of, not because I thought it looked good. But it does. I love the airy feel to it all. It's very clean and precise. Well done, shooting from a plane can't be an easy feat!
Lewis.

Great photo Danny. Were you really inside the plane and in fact parachuting to earth? How else could you have got something this clear and toy-minature like? The lighting looks incredibly staged! And snow like I haven't seen it before... but then in oz... Regards Paul.

Hello Danny,
Very nice, crisp, detailed, roads running like little veins through the snowy landscape. Great shot.
Best regards,
Nathalie

Hello Danny, great picture here! I like pictures taken from plane and you have avoided a lot of the problems associated with this kind of point of view (bits of window, blur...). Interesting to see the web of roads and the small village, showing out of the snow. It's really magic!

Hi Danny,
It looks like a satellite picture. It's very sharp and we could look for hours to those maby details.
Great shot
Guy
