Photographer’s Note

The Arrábida bridge,that across river Douro in Porto,was constructed by Edgar Cardoso.At the time,22 of June 1963,it was the bridge with the major arch in concret all over the world.Only one arch with 270 meters, suport the road were cars pass. A lot of engeneers come from foreign countries to see the oppening of the bridge, they never bealive that the bridge support the heavy of cars and trucks.
At the end they give the cumpliments to Edgar Cardoso, one of our best bridge engeneers that die a few years ago.
The bridge is still there, now repainted and very pretty.

What I find interesting on your fine shot is the angle that you took the image , the fine lines and graceful beauty of the bridge is captured with some style, light looks a little harsh maybe an evening visit is called for in the future, small crop to the bottom might help emphasize the dynamics of this more, well seen
